2018 – ALFA ROMEO MOLE COSTRUZIONE ARTIGIANALE 001

The Alfa Romeo Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001 is the perfect example that small craft companies have ideas and know how to perform so well that they can create models that even improve the car from which they derive. This reinterpretation of the Alfa Romeo 4C was developed by the Adler Group and Up Design, and only one copy was produced and presented at the Turin Show. This is a very personal view of the Italian coupe, but it has so many new elements that it’s hard to believe that it comes from a 4C. The only point that makes clear its origin is the trio formed by its characteristic grille and the two air intakes, although these are already modified with extra lights. The rear is also very different from the standard Alfa Romeo, with the already scant rear window reduced to cracks in the body, round lanterns and an even more aggressive diffuser that takes the two double exhaust exits to the ends of the car. The Alfa Romeo Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001 also features an exaggerated body enlargement kit that makes it possible to further mark the wheel arches and add cooling entries to the rear axle arches. It also features changes in the passenger compartment, which is nothing loaded and respects the structure of the standard model, but replaces its materials. Thus, the upholstery is two-tone leather in ocher and black colors, while the controls and the air vents are now made of aluminum.Nothing has been revealed about its engine, so it is understood that it uses the same 1.75 liter turbo block of 237 hp and 349 Nm of maximum torque, setting that allows the coupe to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds.

2018 – ALFA ROMEO STELVIO

The long-awaited Alfa Romeo SUV finally comes out at the Los Angeles Show. It is the first SUV in the history of the Italian brand, and so they decided to introduce it in its most powerful version Quadrifoglio Verde (QV), which shares the 510 hp V6 engine with Giulia. The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio is based on the same architecture used by Giulia, a model with which it will share not only its mechanical base, but also numerous exterior and interior elements. It will use the DNA system of Alfa Romeo, which allows you to select between Natural, Dynamic and Advanced EFficiency driving modes, in addition to the Race, which is only associated with Stelvio QV.In terms of design, it is perceived that the Giulia has had a great influence on its exterior appearance, with a front that shares with the sedan the slim and stylized headlights, the large grille, the aggressively shaped bumper and the large air intakes. In the rear there is something similar, since the lanterns have a format very similar to those of the Giulia, as well as the four exhaust outlets that are also found in the sedan. In the interior the points in common are also evident, although in the case of the Stelvio, add some details that are specific. The infotainment system features an 8.8-inch touchscreen, while a high fidelity sound system signed by Harman Kardon with 14 loudspeakers distributed throughout the cabin is also available. Regarding driving aids, adaptive cruise control, track maintenance, blind spot alert, assisted parking, etc. will be part of the equipment. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio Verde will be the most powerful and highest performing. It uses the 2.9-liter bi-turbo V6 engine that produces 505 hp of power and 600 Nm of torque, enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 284 km / h.In addition, the Stelvio QV features a four-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission with double clutch, which is able to shift gears in only 100 milliseconds. The simpler versions of the Stelvio will use a turbocharged 2.0-liter 2.0-liter engine with 280 hp, which will also be associated with a full-traction system and the eight-speed automatic transmission. The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio will reach the dealerships of the brand in 2017, the United States being the first market to receive it, where it will be available during the first half. For the other markets there is still no release date, but will certainly be present at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
